SCHOOL IS OUT !!!

School is out !!!! Do you know how I know ??? The Elementary track meet was this morning. YEAH !!! It was extremely hot !!! But the kids did great and I think they enjoyed themselves.

Prom Night

Well, Saturday was Prom night !!! It wasn't as stressful as I thought it was going to be. Maegen pretty much kept us all entertained. Maegen is the comedian in the family !!!

It started when Karl (D'Nae's date) came over to the house I guess around 2:30 pm. LaShae arrived a little after 3 pm and began fixing D'Nae's hair. So here is Karl sitting in the living room....VERY PATIENTLY....while D'Nae is getting ready. Calmness and patience is definately a virtue that he has. Anyway, while the girls where in the bathroom..Maegen decides she is going to fix Karl's hair. He sooo patiently sits in the floor for an extremely long time while this 5 year old puts rubber bands in his hair and even gives him a mohawk. When we realized that she was putting "glitter" in his hair is when we said enough was enough...NO MORE GLITTER (I believe LaShae or D'Nae one put her up to that)..but...he just sat there and took all of the torture.

Maegen "fixed" Karl's hair !!! He was such a good sport !!!


After supper they began to get there prom clothes on and off to his house so his mom could see them and take some pictures. Here are a few pics:

I made it thru Thursday !!!

Well, I made thru yesterday. There was a glitch in it, but it wasn't anything terrible. !!

Rhaeden won his baseball game !! I am a little heart broken in the fact that he received the "game ball" last night and I wasn't there to see him play. D'Nae and LaShae said he played really really well. He played catcher last night and has not ever practiced that position before. Mainly because he is Left handed..but luckily the other team had a left handed catchers mit so it worked out well. Here are a couple of pics...I was able to watch 1 inning before I had to leave.

Maegen's program was cute. They did songs from the movie "High School Musical." Maegen pretty much sang every song and even had a line to say into the microphone. There was a little boy behind her that was just hilarious...obviously he had seen the movie and knew the motions that went with the songs. I have never posted a video but will try to see if I can't get one up but here is a picture of her at the ballgame before we went to her perfomance. I took my video camera into the perfomance instead of my camera.

OK...Not to leave D'Nae out because she was just soooo much help to me yesterday. She fixed Maegen's hair...She went and got Rhaeden's glove at the house and stayed and watched his game and then took him home...here is a preview of her prom dress.

I am sooo proud of ALL of my kids !!! They amaze me and bless me everyday !!! I LOVE YOU !!

Busy Week

Ok...I know everyone has a busy week and I am no exception.

Monday, Rhaeden had a baseball game in which he won !!! Yeah !!! They beat the team that had beaten them last Monday. So it was a very good win.

Tonight, Maegen has her Spring Band Concert. They are perfoming songs from High School Musical. She is really excited. Rhaeden is suppose to be going...but...he has a baseball game at 5:30 pm tonight and he is going to baseball not some band concert. So, hopefully this is how my night will go...Someone (?) will take Rhaeden to the baseball park at 5pm after I get off of work I will go and watch a couple of innings. At least I will get to see him bat once. He normally bats 2nd or 3rd. Then Maegen, Mom, and Myself will leave around 6:15 to get Maegen to her perfomance. D'Nae and Pop will stay with Rhaeden and watch his game. After the game D'Nae and Rhaeden will grab something to eat and then head home. On my way home Maegen and I will grab something to eat. I have this all planned out in my head how this SHOULD work out..but for some reason..there will probably be a glitch in it somewhere. Ok..not to sound too selfish...but...TONIGHT IS THE SEASON FINALE OF GREY'S ANATOMY !!!! 2 HOURS at that !!! It better record !!! ha ha

Tomorrow night is the annual UIL banquet. It normally takes about 3 hours.

Then Saturday night is the all important PROM !!! So, I'm sure the day will be filled with making sure the hair and nails are done.

Oh !! Don't let me forget Rhaeden has a birthday party to go too on Saturday afternoon.

So, Please hope that I make all the functions that I am suppose to make !! It is really hard to be in two places at the same time !!!

Week of May 12th -16th

Ok...Let me see if I can give you a brief run down on the happenings of the week...so far that is...you just never know what might come up around here.

D'Nae--yesterday was cheerleading tryouts..and yes..we have a cheerleader yet again...Raw..Raw..GO COYOTES !!!

Rhaeden--He has had a hard week. It started Monday morning 1st period when he and another boy collided in PE chasing a basketball. The short of it Rhaeden had a tooth that went about half way through his cheek or more and lost two teeth (luckily they were just baby teeth) over the accident. Anyway..the swelling is just about gone..after 4 days but he is still on antibiotics. And he lost his first baseball game of the year so far. Just not a good week for him. But we have two more baseball games next week that we hopefully can play well and win.

Maegen--poor Maegen...She is in Kindergarten and is counting DOWN the days of school left. Every morning she let's me know how many days of school are left. I just have to laugh because actually she has 12 more YEARS of school.

Getting Started

Ok...I told my Mom I had an account already set up because I look at some other blogs on pretty much a daily basis...BUT...I had never done anything to mine except set up an account.



So here is my attempt at trying to set this up and look like I want it to look...Which more than likely will take me a few hundred times to get it the way I want it..ha ha



And just so you all know...Jan has so sweetly designated my mother (Cindy) to be in CHARGE of the Joe Wilson Family Blog and can't wait to see what she does with it...
