The Bland Clan: September 2009

Rhaeden is playing pee-wee football again this year. They have played two games so far and are 2-0. They play on Saturdays. The first game they played in the rain. I think the boys enjoyed it, but I sat in my suburban. Needless to say I didn't get any pictures. Last week they played in Plainview on turf. They were all excited !!! He is # 89 this year.

Maegen is doing gymnastics again this year. She has only had two lessons but after the first one, she has improved soo much over the summer that Wednesday they moved her up to the more advanced class. She absolutely loves it now. She hardly walks through the living room that she isn't doing a cartwheel. She has been practicing her hand stand front roll all summer. It is better, but every now and then instead of the roll you hear a big thud. Still needs some work.

D'Nae is busy with her Senior year. She isn't cheerleading this year but we have made all the football games. The football boys are 4-0 this season and look really good. They have a shot at going far in the play-offs again this year (let's keep our fingers crossed.) I think she has decided to attend Angelo State University in San Angelo.

We have homecoming next week and are preparing for the bonfire, sr. supper, and of the course the dance after the game. They seem excited. Also, we will be playing on our new turf field. I believe they are just putting the final touches on it. I can't wait to see the completed field.

Mike has been busy cutting and baling hay this week. We haven't seen much of him. He bales at night and is normally asleep when we leave in the morning.

Now Seriously...when you pay a $ 25 sitting fee that does NOT apply to the purchase of your pictures...one would think they could print some decent proofs. Anyway, I will save that gripe for another day. These are the 3 poses that she and I like.
