Football Weekend

I haven't updated since we had all the rain on the 11th and 12th. We had over 8 inches of rain and the road between Post and Gail was closed so my kids didn't "get" to go to school on Friday the 12th. The football game was moved from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon.

So Friday I went over to the Pep Rally since it was the first one for D'Nae this year. During the pep rally Maegen got on the floor and did two cheers with about 10 other girls. I was shocked !! Niether of my girls told me...Luckily I had taken my camera !! Next time they will have to make sure that I am informed of these things. The Coyotes won the game Friday night and they are now 3-0 on the year. This week is homecoming so we have activities everyday this week.

Maegen is going to be one confused little girl. On Friday she cheers for the Borden County Coyotes and on Saturday morning she cheers for her brother and the Post Antelopes. I keep expecting to hear her say "two bits, four bits, six bits a dollar, all for the Coyotes stand up and holler." I haven't heard it yet...but I bet it will happen..just a matter of WHEN !! ha ha

Saturday was Rhaeden's football game. They played a good game and came out on top 34-0. They are now 3-0 since last Saturday's game was a rain-out and the other team didn't want to reschedule--they forfeited. The boys really would have rather played the game...but I guess you take a win anyway you can !!!

Below: If you will look close..the coaches are out running the kids after the game !! They do this after every game !!

Quick update on family: We celebrated Toni's birthday with a cook-out at their house on Saturday evening. Jeremy cooked pork chops and they were delicious !!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TONI !!! LaShae went this morning for a sonogram of her gall bladder and a scope. She is currently finished with the sonogram and is in doing the scope. Mom said she would call me later when/if they hear the results today.
